Our Mission
We at Grace Lutheran Church are called to reach, teach and be the people of God, as stewards of the Word of God and the gifts of God. We are Founded on Christ — Focused on Community.
The Bible calls Jesus “the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world”. Having paid our debt with His blood, Jesus rose from the dead and returned to the heavenly Father to reign over all things. He gave His disciples the command to go into all the world to baptize, teach and observe all that He commanded. He promised that He would continue to be with them through the ages. Through congregations, and our regional and national offices, we strive to carry out our Lord’s command to make known His love and forgiveness to the whole world.
Grace Lutheran is affiliated with the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod which accepts without reservation the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the written Word of God and the only rule and norm of faith and of practice. We believe, teach, and confess that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Lord and that through in Him we receive forgiveness of sins, eternal life and salvation. We believe that there is one holy Christian church on earth which is made up of all believers in Jesus Christ wherever they are to be found. This one church, which is not to be identified with any institution or denomination, is to be found wherever the Gospel is preached and the Sacraments administered.
