Women's Guild - Work days for September:

The following days are scheduled to work on the Lap Quilts for Veterans, as well as packaging the Urgent Care Needs items we have received.

September 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th.

 

Emercency Information Cards:  To better help our Congregation in emergency times, we ask that you fill out an Emergency Information Card, with your family contact information, in cases of emergency.  For information, please contact Norma Wheatley.  

 

CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to our Deacon Jim Moore for being accepted into the SMP program.  Installation as GLC Vicar will be September 5th.  

 

SUNDAY SCHOOL

September 12th, GLC will have a Rally Day to Kick off the start of Sunday School.  Installation of the teachers and substitutes, and recognition of the students who will be attending. 

Anyone interested in volunteering their time and talent as a substitute/on call teacher should contact Deb Scheffler, Paula Sell, or Glenna Cates.

Sunday School registration forms need to be returned to Deb Scheffler by September 1st.

Note: Sunday School time has changed to 10:45 - 11:45am, and will follow the Worship Service.

  

LEARN ABOUT OUR FAITH!

Grace Lutheran Church is holding a Bible class which looks at what the church teaches and why.  Class is held on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm. and will run about an hour.   Any one who wishes to join us is welcome!
