Service to God is not a slavish obligation, but a great privilege to express our appreciation for all of God’s great goodness toward us, especially the spiritual blessings of the forgiveness of sins and hope of heaven. Service to God is an act of our worship. We honor him above all because we recognize his great worth to us. He alone can give us true happiness in life. Grace Lutheran Meals on Wheels Every month Grace Lutheran Church volunteers deliver meals to temporary and permanent shut-ins. It is one day a month and very rewarding. Anyone who is interested in doing a “ride-along” to see if this might be something in which you would like to volunteer, please contact: Earl Weiss or Pastor Haydon
Prayer Chain Prayer brings about change; don't forget to call upon our prayer chain for all your needs. And if you are not a part of it now, you might consider becoming a member of the prayer chain. Evangelism Outreach "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news" Romans 10:15
The Evangelism Board relates to persons inside and outside of our congregation.
Our goal is to develop call lists from various sources.
Then to encourage individuals, families or anyone who is looking for a church home, or that desires a closer relationship with Christ, to talk with us and perhaps come worship with us.
We encourage all those who may know of someone searching, or in need of these things, to provide us with names, addresses and phone number (if available).
Please contact us by phone or email, as setforth below. We will then call on them and respond appropriately.
Service to our Lord does not stop as we leave the doors of the church, that is when it begins.
Visitation teams made up of three members of our congregration make "friendly visits" each Thursday evening beginning at 6;00 or at more convenient times by appointment.
